Knowledge and Employability courses at WCHS are generally delivered through a comprehensive program approach. The program goals are to develop students’ skills, values, and abilities to prepare them to enter the workforce. Students are clustered together and supported in smaller core classes and integrated in options classes. In grade 10 and 11 students can enter supported work experience sessions with community partners that align with their interests identified throughout the program. This educational stream generally culminates with the student earning a Certificate of High School Completion. After completing this certificate students can complete the additional courses required for a High School Diploma.
