Learners are innovative thinkers who are successful, confident, respectful and caring

Inclusive Education Programming

We believe that every child is an individual who learns and grows at levels and ways unique to themselves.  We recognize children not by labels and codes but by celebrating strengths and identifying challenges.

At Winston Churchill High School, it is our philosophy that our school provide an inclusive community environment, encourage independence and responsibility, and preparation for the transition to adulthood for all students.

We place great emphasis on the importance of being independent, responsible citizens of our school and community.  Our students are encouraged to become as independent as they can be in order to maximize their self-worth and growth.  We recognize that transitions are critical, and work with the student, their families and community agencies to ensure that their dreams and goals are being acknowledged when they transition to adulthood.
