Convocation: Lethbridge College Gymnasium, June 28 10:00am - 12:00pm.

Grad Celebration: Lethbridge College Gymnasium June 28 7:00pm - 10:30pm

Principles that guide decision making for graduation are as follows:  Grad is accessible to all students wanting to attend; Graduation will be about clebration and accomplishment not commercialism; Grad is an important event and all staff, students and parents are encouraged to attend; Meeting grad requirements is the focus of grade 12 and Grad celebtations are organized to support this goal.

Information about Grad will be shared in the newsletter, through the Daily, at Grad Directorate meetings, and on the school website under Parent Information @ www.wchs.lethsd.ab.ca. There will be a general Grade 12 assembly October 25th to explain Graduation to students and a Parent meeting organized for Tuesday November 20th.

Please know that Churchill strives to make Graduation accessible to all students.  Efforts are made to make grad as non-comercial and affordable as possible.  Hoodies, pictures and rings are optional.  The only madatory fee for Graduation is the $70.00 Grad Fee.  This will cover cost of cap and gown, certificate covers, pins, and facility rental. All Fees are due to be collected in November 2012.  See or call Angela at 403 328-4723 if you need further assistance.

Baby Pictures For Grad Video:  Every Grad is asked to send in a baby picture that will be projected with their grad photo at the evening celebration.  Pictures can be dropped off to Darlene at the main office February through end of April. Digital pictures can also be sent to wchsgrad2013@gmail.com .  Digital photos must be scanned at 300dpi, and be sent as a high quality jpeg.

  • Grad Photos November 5, 6, 7, and November 13, 14, 15, 16  in Conference Room           (sign up on website at www.lifetouch.ca/southernalberta)  
  • Grad Hoodies Ordered November 19, 20, 21 Delivered December 19- 21  
  • Grad Luncheon Tuesday June 11th  @ 11:00 in gymnasiam
  • Graduation Day June 28th Convocation 10:00am Celebration 7:00pm Doors open 6:00pm 

Grad Ring Information from Jostens                                                                               
Students can order rings or design their own through Joostens.  Check out website below for more info. Grad Ring Sales will be Tuesday March 5 from 11:30-1:00 in the cafetaria.

GRAD FEES  are collected from all grade 12 students planning on graduating 2013     Any students that are unable to pay fees need to meet with Angela or Dianne to make arrangements.  They will be collected at over noon hours in the front foyer of the school the week of November 19, 20, and 21.

Grad Photos  offered by LifeTouch
All grade 12 students get a Grad Photo taken for the yearbook even if they are not purchasing the package. Grad's can also choose to make appointments to have a grad photo session taken in the conference room during spares on school days, lunch or after school.  Appointments are made directly with LifeTouch and can be booked on-line at the link below.  Life Touch Studio is located at 225 Stafford Drive South in Lethbridge, 403 381-8955.  Information packages will be given out to grade 12 students at school. If you have any questions please call the Angie at the LifeTouch Studio.  Information at link below is live, however appointments can only be booked after October 20th, 2011.

Photos of Convocation and Grand March
The day of graduation, June 28th, Digi Worx photos will set up a camera and take a professional picture of each grad receiving their certificate as they walk across the stage.  A class photo will be taken in cap and gown, and a photo of each grad at Grand March in the evening will be taken.  These photos will be available to view on the web at www.digiworx.ca. Parent and students can select which photos they would like to purchase and order them directly from Digiworx immediately after graduation.

Grad Hoodies                                                                                           
Each year graduating students design a decal that is printed on a hoodie. These hoodies can be ordered and prepaid for during the grad fee collection week, November 19, 20 and 21.  The price is usually around $40.00 dollars but actual price will vary depending on choices made for the hoodie.
