WCHS - FNMI Student Club
Parent Information
Student Meeting Background: Earlier this year our school district First Nations, Metis and Inuit (FNMI) program staff initiated a series of “Round Tables” with all our high schools to ask our FNMI students what they want to participate in for FNMI Learning opportunities. The list that you see above is the result of their input and our administration setting it up for them!
Participation at these student gatherings/meetings is voluntary and dependent upon good attendance and passing grades in their regular school work. We hope to provide an incentive/reward to the students who attend all meetings with a year-end activity. The students will determine what that will be.
We encourage you to ask your son or daughter what they are doing at the meetings. Should you have any questions about the meetings please feel free to call Ira Provost at (403) 380-5316.
